The Art Club is a cornerstone of the vibrant cultural life at Pelican Cove. Our mission is to support both the appreciation and creation of art.
We have approximately 100 members, including professional artists, art teachers, aspiring artists, and art enthusiasts.
Our mission is to support both the appreciation and creation of art with an emphasis on painting and drawing. The Art Club sponsors a full Calendar of painting demos, lectures, and events. As a member of the Art Club, you will receive invitations to and Consideration for Solo Show Exhibits, early registration for Art Classes and a free table at the annual Clothesline Sale. We also provide information on where to buy supplies and offsite classes, workshops, and exhibits.
Art Club membership – runs January to January – It’s easy to join:
- Fill out membership form;
- Put completed form and $20 check made out to CASH (no cash accepted), in an envelope labeled with your name and Art Club Membership;
- Place envelope in Art Club mailbox in the PC Office.
Art Studios — Need a place to create? Art Club members have access to two Art Studios located in the Wilbanks house. While the spaces are not large, they are well lit, and lockers and easels are available. The mood is one of sharing and camaraderie for artists of all levels.
- Art Club members have 24/7 access.
- The cost is $10/year for locker, $5 for open slot.
